I have become a juicing convert and my body gets mad at me when I skip a few days.  Which I recently did due to being very busy and not wanting to deal with cleaning the machine.  Lazy me!  Anyway, I got my juicer this past Christmas.  I don’t even know why I thought of asking for a juicer other then I was tired of being tired and thought it might be from my not eating enough veggies.  Got to love random thoughts especially when they work out for you!

I have made some good drinks with my juicer as well as some NASTY ones.  In my opinion, stay away from adding radishes and celery…!  My typical go to veggies and fruits (not all at one time) are spinach, carrots, cucumber, green apples, pineapple, oranges, and strawberries.  The lovely thing is that you use A LOT of spinach and carrots for just one serving.  My juice drinks typically turn out green in color but the taste makes up for the not so pleasant look.

I can’t talk about juicing without bringing up the documentary Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead.  It is a good watch that amazed me with the level of positive transformation that juicing can bring to one’s health.  I’ve watched this show a number of times since I first heard of it this past January.  If you watch it, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
