Meet the newest addition to my health tool kit-a dry skin brush! After having read about the benefits of dry skin brusing, I wanted to give it a try. A couple of the benefits: stimulates lymphatic system, exfoliates dead skin, & get this, helps to reduce cellulite. Sign me up! Honestly though, it was the stimulating the lymphatic system that got me interested. I’m really focused on detoxing toxins from my body.
To get started, you’ll need to pick out a natural bristle brush. I bought mine on amazon. I like to do my dry skin brushing in the morning right before my shower. The image below shows how to do the brush strokes (towards your heart).
I start at my feet, then legs, abdomen, arms, armpits…and so on. I don’t use it on my face. The bristles would be way to rough. Have you ever done dry skin brushing before? If you have, would love to hear how you like it!
